What is POS?

 

The POS, defined by art. 89 of Legislative Decree 81/08 as "the document that the employer of the executing company draws up, in reference to the individual construction site concerned...", therefore represents the fundamental certification for the management of work activities on construction sites.

Drawn up by the Employer, the Operational Safety Plan must contain:

• assessment of the risks to which workers are subjected;

• specific activity and individual processes;

• description of construction site activities, organization and shifts;

• list of any scaffolding, important temporary works, dangerous substances;

• prevention and protection measures to be adopted to contain or eliminate the risk;

• organization of global company safety regarding processes, machines and equipment;

• safety organization chart;

• any procedures required by the PSC.
